Money Bowl

Money Bowl

I do want to say for this bowl, I used what I had on hand. Feel free to alter to what you have, as there’s few reasons for this spell to be exactly the same as everyone’s!

Before we get started, let me offer a brief explanation of what a Money Bowl is, for those who may not have that experience yet! A Money Bowl is a spell that a spell in a bowl meant to bring in money to you (or whoever you aim the spell at)! As a forewarning as always, the magical and mundane work hand in hand. If you do nothing mundanely to get money, there is no means of delivery. With that in mind, a great time to do this spell is right before job interviews, performance reviews, or bonuses.

Below I shall list the ingredients I chose to use in mine. I also used some herbs that have very similar properties to each other. I like to do this as a symbol of abundance, but you don’t have to do this. For my money bowls I like to focus on luck and success as well. There’s no question they go hand in hand. Since I’m self-employed I like to try and branch into things that will help my personal business and branding as well. Feel free to add things that you feel will further you in your money-making efforts, whatever they may be. In the inverse, feel free to take things out as well.

Putting It Together

To start off, make sure your space all the pieces you intend to use are cleansed and ready to go. Do this how you would normally.

After that, take your bowl and fill it with your herbs. You don’t need a lot of the herbs, but I know some people like the bowl to look full as well for abundance, I would suggest using the rice and salt as a base. It’ll help it look a bit fuller, especially if you don’t have the money to spare on the herbs you’re using. I like to mix them together so that it’s spread a bit evenly through the whole bowl, but I don’t think this changes the effect, I just like how the end product looks.

After your bowl is filled, place your charms, crystals, and other items in. For me this was fun because I arranged them a bit more than I typically do in spell jars. There’s more room, and since it’s an open bowl you have very few limits

Place your candles, and light it. As it burns down a little fill your jar with the contents of the bowl, close it, and use the wax to seal it closed. I like to also put in a piece of paper with my finance goal, Lord Mammon’s sigil, sometimes a prayer. Then I seal it with the wax from a candle I’m using in the spell. This isn’t necessary but I like to do this, and if you worship a figure that is involved with money in some way you could add in something for them instead. I did this as a way to symbolize the money “staying” with me!

After you do this, when times get slightly rough feel free to light the candle in preparation to bring some extra money, luck, and success your way!
