Asmodeus | Asmoday
Asmodeus has a different, and quite intricate story, that has small variations depending on which book you’re reading and looking into specifically. While overall a lot of the information is relatively the same, but there are some pieces that will vary. I wanted to note this before we dig into things because this means depending on where your research comes from you may see some of these differences, and I will be going over some of it.
Some of these differences also come from translations, which is important to note because not all of the writings mentioning Asmodeus were written in English at first and were translated later on which can lead to changes to what was originally said.
Some of the things that seem to change frequently would be Domain, pieces of history, and Title (Lord and King are both used, as well as differences of Prince of Revenge and King of Demons).
Prominent Books and Text Mentioning Asmodeus
This is by no means a complete list, because not only are there other prominent writings that mention Asmodeus, but there are also countless lesser-known pieces that speak of him as well. I recommend seeking out as much as you can find! Since Asmodeus is a common Demon to see people worship, there are also many places you can find people sharing their own experiences regularly which can be helpful if that’s the route you wish to go.

Depictions
The common depiction of King Asmodeus, which was actually signed off by the Archbishop of Paris, is having three heads (a Bull, Human, and Ram), the chest of a man, legs of a rooster, tail of a serpent, and riding an infernal dragon as he breaths fire. The dragon is depicted as a lion with dragon wings and neck. This depiction is still used commonly, and while there are others, most of them are extremely similar with small differences of the feet or so.
Later on, Asmodeus is given a more human depiction, which quotes him as a good looking, well-mannered man who walks with a limp as his one leg is still that of a rooster, or at least clawed though I’ve found this one is mentioned much less than others. The limp is stated as an old injury from a fight with ‘another devil.’
Common Information
Asmodeus is known to instruct people in the arts of mathematics, astronomy, and the mechanical. He could answer all questions, and help discover all treasures-but this depends fully on your skill when working with him.
As a demon, typically people view a lot of his abilities as bad, or even evil. However bad and evil are completely subjective. On top of that, Asmodeus would not want you working towards purely selfish desires that offer no real benefit.
Although carnal desire is Asmodeus’ cardinal sin, he helps in other domains as well. He lords over several gambling houses and loves revenge. He will never miss the opportunity to help a grudge, or a plan of vengeance given it is worthwhile.
Asmodeus can also help you with several things such as your ego, self-love and self-worth, gaining confidence, shadow work, protections, love spells and so on. Which makes him very popular to those who need help in those aspects.
Interactions Towards Followers
Asmodeus is said to help with self-love, revenge, finding earthly treasures, divination, and confidence. Many people describe Asmodeus as understanding, encouraging, and relatively laid back in the terms of the Demon Kings. Many people say their interactions with Asmodeus are very lighthearted and fun, and he’s less likely to seem stand-offish. However, just like many demons, he is very much stern of wanting you to take care of yourself and make an effort to do so.
There is a large push to self-love and appreciation, a lot of followers stating Lord Asmodeus was able to help them find a new sense of confidence and step into their sexual energy. Many say he has helped them heal their wounds in regard to their sex life, helping them move past insecurities and doubts.
Common Offerings and Devotional Acts
Devotional acts for Asmodeus typically include taking care of yourself, dedicating things like jewelry to him, prayer, meditation, and doing things that may be out of your comfort zone if it leads to betterment of the self. This can be things from washing your face, to exercising regularly.
Offerings are commonly chocolates, strawberries, mint, roses and wines. More luxury items like jewelry, perfumes, and mirrors have also seemed to be popular, though a little less common. Some people will dedicate orgasms to him and release the sexual energy in his name as an offering.
